As one of the most common mining equipments, Jaw crusher appeared earlier among crushing equipments. Jaw crusher can be used for all kinds of rocks and ore for coarse crushing, mid fine crushing and fine crushing under compressive strength range of 147~245Mpa. And the highest compressive strength of material is up to 320Mpa. Jaw crusher performance features: big crushing ratio, even particle size of finished product, simple structure, stably operation, easy to maintain and repair and low running cost. Jaw crusher work principle: When in operation, motor drives eccentric shaft rotating by pulley, moving close to the e-cycle and leaving the fixed jaw. So that it realizes multiple broken methods to material, extrusion, twist, crush. Thereby the materials gradually becoming smaller and smaller and then fall off, finally discharge out of the discharge port.

Though its good performance, there is also problems existing sometimes when it is in operation. For example, somentimes, it will do shutdown suddenly when in operation. At this time, we can take some measures to solve the problems : reinstall or replace bush fixing, regulate voltage of operation site conforming to main engine voltage requirement, clean clogging materials at discharge port to guarantee discharge smoothly, adjust V-belt tightly or replace V-belt and so on. 

Recent years, there are new types of crushers appeared, such as new type single toggle jaw crusher, which is used for fine crushing. And high strength jaw crusher, which is used for crushing high strength, excessive hardness extra-low carbon FeCr. So, jaw crusher widely applied to such industries as mining, metallurgy, building materials, highway, railway, water conservancy, chemical industry, etc.
